PokerStars Zoom

Hi.

It looks like PokerStars Rush aka "Zoom" is out for testing on their Betaclient. Is or will be PT4 be able to support this new game? Would be very nice. 8-)

We are well aware of the upcoming Zoom games and we're in contact with PokerStars. I hope we will be able to support them fully within PT3 and 4, although of course this depends on exactly how they are implemented and what PokerStars allows. I don't know the technical details yet, but the development team are on it.. :)

I'm thinking out aloud here: I presume there will be no HUD support for Zoom in the same way PT3/4 is not designed to scrape at the start of each hand for obvious reasons?

We hope to be able to add support for Zoom in the same way that we supported Rush at Full Tilt, but that will be dependent on exactly how the tables work.

awww that would have been nice to test together (I assume PT4 supports playchippies too). I would link to their testside here, but not sure if I am allowed to.
since we can test zoom now on their testclient and it seems to be running smoothly, I read that they plan to release it early March.
I remember when rush came out that you guys were so much quicker to get running than the HEM ppl. hope the same will be true for zoom. gogogogogogo :heart:

Zoom has been on the test site for some time now, and may go live on the main site within a week or two. Do you have any news on when, and if you will have HUD support?

I don't have anything concrete for you yet but from what I've seen/heard from the devs I'm confident that we will have at least basic support for Zoom when (or very shortly after, depending on how much notice we get of the release schedule) it is released, if not full support, although of course that is what we're aiming for.

looking forward to testing it next week. does it work for playmoney on the .net client too? in that case we could test it already today

I would expect it to work on Play Money tables - please try it and let us know how you get on. This is very new so we'd be very interested in your feedback.
