is pt4 killing my stars ?

Postby Chillipops » Sun Oct 13, 2013 10:12 pm

Hi guys,

I am having running pt4 at all when I have my PokerStars software running, my tables just keep whiting out, I submitted a report to PokerStars and they have indicated one of the possible problems could be caused by other software I am running (PT4 is the only other software running) I have been having this problem now for a number of weeks and have been soldiering on but as my losses have increased I have had to find the answers so I am here asking for help please.

My pc is a :

AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-Core Processor
6gb ram
windows 7 64 bit operating system
250gb hard drive.

is this a good enough system to be running PokerStars and PT4 ?

We have a large number of PokerStars players using PT4 and that is not a general issue.
Please make sure that you have applied all Windows updates, and check that your graphics drivers are up to date too.

Also check that you're using our latest version from the PT4 Download Page (currently v4.10.2).

Your system specs seem good enough (our minimum requirements are here), so I wouldn't expect that to cause any problem.

Does this happen consistently as soon as the Hud appears, or does it happen at some point later during your session?

It has been happening more and more over the past 2 weeks, I had gotten the newest update but there was a note saying there was a fult and to go back to an earlier version which I did I was hoping it was that but the problem is increasing and has stopped me from playing with a hud.

That's very strange. Could you send us a link to a video that runs in reverse via our support system? I haven't heard of that behavior happening before.
