Friendly rant about PT4's current business model.

Hello,

Long time pokertracker user here, just wanted to rant because it's a shame and pretty terrible the direction online poker and poker tracking is going....

I think it's pretty terrible how people pay for a license fee to use the software, but then PT4 neglects key support to further monetize users with payment for hand grabbers...

Barely any sites allow full hud tracking anymore and PT4 can't even keep up to date with the site that allow it...

Current purchase of PT4 is $60-$100 (used to be $50-70), but not only have prices gone up, you also accommodate less than when PT4 was first released.

PT4 are instead pushing:

-Ignition hand grabber, $25-40 (not really sure why small stakes and all stakes are separated, when you already do so for the software licence).
-CoinPoker hand grabber, $30-50 MONTHLY!! or $140-235 6MONTHS.
-ASian hand grabbers, same f**king s**t!

I think it's a bloody disgrace you expect people to pay for your software and then make further payments for it to actually be usable...

Take CoinPoker... DRiveHud ($26-50 12months) and H2N ($16 per month) BOTH have built-in support for CoinPoker. It's a discrace PT4, supposedly the leading tracker can't also have inbuilt support...instead.. you want to further create ways of fleecing people.

IT's not that you can't do it, but rather you choose not to. It's a disgrace....

What's worse is the pricing... I mean it's cheaper to buy and use DRiveHud and then export hand history in PS format to then import to PT4 (to use reports), than it is to buy your c**p third party hand grabber....
I'm not really sure why i bother writing this...it's not like CoinPoker support is magically going to appear...

But it's bloody terrible the "leading tracker" can't even offer direct support for one of the main poker rooms in 2026....
