postgre SQL database not connecting

Hi

After a long poker break, i'm trying to re-install PT4 on a new laptop.
I also installed a new version of postgre SQL (.18), but cannot get it to connect.

Unable to create PostgreSQL database: PT4 DB
Reason: This server is not responding to connection attempts. Please restart the PostgreSQL service, then PokerTracker and try again.
i installed everthing at default settings.
Can anyone help me?

PokerTracker 4 does not support PostgreSQL v18. Please uninstall it and then install PostgreSQL v16 - see this guide:
