I want to make a table summarising player stats. I'm not sure how to keep it current. Regenerating the whole table every often seems a bit crazy. Is there any way to know when a player's stats related data has been changed/added?
I'm thinking using the player_winnings date_played column - am I missing a better way?

I would suggest the session_start date in the SESSIONS table.
