Hand Histories Spontaneously Stop Importing

Postby adamg365 » Sat Dec 13, 2008 2:50 pm

I recently installed Poker Tracker on my new computer. I am using Vista and running Poker Tracker as an administrator. Last night it was importing hands just fine. This morning I fired it up and it says in the status box "No hand history files were imported" or something similar when it should be importing hand histories. That is to say, I am playing and hand histories are being created but not imported to Poker Tracker. Can somebody help me? I have searched the forums but not found anything other than the administrator advice, but I already knew that.

If it's telling you that then you must not be running ALL of your poker software as administrator. That means you must be running the poker site software as admin too, Vista must prompt you to cancel/allow the programs to run every time or they aren't running as admin.

You don't need to do this with XP. If it's not finding the files then you either have PT pointing to the wrong folder or the site is not saving them. What site is this for? Click the help link at the top right corner of the auto-import window and see the directions there for making sure you have the site set to save the hands to the hard drive and that you are pointing PT to the right folder.
