Do I have to buy Bodog Hand Grabber?

So I just started playing poker again, and I heard that Bodog was an easy site to beat. So I signed up and had hoped to datamine some tables before I was able to set up an ewalletexpress account and fund my Bodog account. From what I can tell, Bodog doesn't send hand histories at all unless you request them.

A couple questions.....

1. Do I need the Bodog Hand Grabber tool to gather all types of hands (whether I'm playing or observing)?
2. If I missed the opportunity to list IdleMiner as a referral when I signed up for Bodog, do I have to buy the software if I want to collect hand histories from Bodog?
3. Can I create another account for a family member and use my same bank account to get the idle miner suite?

1. Yes, you need that program to get the hand histories.

2/3 - This is something better answered by Idleminer support, I don't know the answers to these.

A quick question on using Bodog with PT ver 2.17.01
help file says to capture hand histories, i must download "Dogwatch HandGrabber" but the site is unavailable..
has "idleminer" taken it's place ? or is this something totally different ?

Yes, Idleminer is now the software that is needed. That Dogwatch software stopped working after a Bodog patch several months ago and they were taking forever to fix the problems so IM stepped in with their version and then Dogwatch took it's site down.

Thanks Pat! Guess I'll be contacting Idle Miner. Really wish I had known about that software before signing up on Bodog.
