Prima issues with PT2

Postby muxplust » Tue Apr 01, 2008 2:09 pm

While importing hands with the new Eurolinx software I get this error SOMETIMES

sometimes the import works fine. Yes, I am using Postgres

thoughts?

!!! Database Error !!! SQLDBCode: 11 ; SQLErrText: Select error: SQLSTATE = S1000
database disk image is malformed (11)

edit: usually when I force the read from database it works fine. The issue seems to be only when I set the timer and the timer fires.

edit: i am using PT 2.17.01h

On the Prima auto-import window, click the Configure Database Files button. On the next window, make a note of the folder location of the GameHistory.dat file that you are pointing PT to read from.

Close PT and the poker site. Go to this folder and rename the GameHistory.dat file to GameHistory_bad.dat. Then open the poker site software and play another hand. They should create a new GameHistory.dat file for you to continue to import from. Open PT and and the Prima auto-import window and you should be able to start importing again.

I have much the same problem with the new software at Unibet, another microgaming site. They recently upgraded their software and I am now unable to download any hands.

Initially I was getting the same error message as did muxplust, but after following your suggestion that error message has not reappeared. However, in its place I get the following:

[color=#0080FF2cs]"[i2cs]Import Finished With Errors - The import finished but there were errors. Open the Utilities/Error Log Display/Maintenance window to see the errors - 0 hand(s) were imported."[/i2cs][/color2cs]

And when I go to Utilities, here is an excerpt from the error log:

[color=#0040FF2cs][i2cs]"Date Written:-- 4/2/2008 08:05:11
File Name:-- c:\program files\poker tracker v2\PRIMA_HH_1_20080402_080500.txt
Error Message:-- Unable to get the tournament ID for tourney game number 1947047718...2.00 Fixed - Tournament) Real Money
From/Version:-- AutoPRIMA (2.17.01g)"[/i2cs][/color2cs]
All of the error messages are identical, except for the game number. Very strange that the error refers to a search for a tournament ID. I haven't played a tournament at Unibet for several months now and all recent games have been on several fixed limit ($1/$2) 10- and 6-max tables.

Pat,

Could this maybe be a sticky? I think this is at least the 4th time I've had to do this and each time I come here and either ask the same question or get lucky like today and it's answered. I'll probably remember but it seems that you could save some legwork on this one as it seems to get asked a lot.
