pop server problem

Postby davidl » Sun Mar 30, 2008 7:54 pm

i'm suddenly having problems with importing hands ...

after playing on poker stars i have them send hand histories and tourniment summary. i then go to pt, click on import hand histories/tournement summaries. click on 'check pop3 email.' the recent tourniments appear, i check the appropriate boxes and click import and the import appears to take place. afterwards however i get an error message that says "file contains no texas hold 'em hands or unable to determine what poker site this file came from. " i went to utilities and checked the pop3 email set up which indicated i was "successfully connected to the internet."

this is happening on the computer i've been using and on which i'd had no problem importing hand histories until today. i'm also having problems on my new computer as well but on that one the pop3 email server is not connected and i'm still trying to figure out what i'm doing wrong.

i'm really not good with this stuff so any help or direction will be appreciated,

thanks david

What kind of anti-virus program are you using?

On the window that opens that you can select the emails to import from, check the "save to file" option for one of the emails. Then after it imports and gives an error, find that file on your computer and open it. Does it have any text in it?
