poker tracker data is wrong

Postby bluegatorade » Tue Mar 25, 2008 2:52 am

It records my hands fine. But just recently I was overlooking it and some of the interpreting stats are wrong. I raised a hand and won the blinds and the HH said that but the stat on the side said I lost a dollar in the pot and limped the hand instead. I constantly have errors finding the HH by the means of "Could not find winning amount for hand 353453636 or whatever"

Also when I am ready to import hands It has told me for a month or so that I have 28 hand historys in my HH folder or something and that that means I'm not moving them to another folder when I am. I've played like 30k hands and it bothers to tell me I have 28 all the time? How do I get rid of this?

Thanks a lot for the help, sounds like a pain in the ass constantly dealing with this stuff.

My bad it's 28 HH files it says I need to move. Not 28 hands. So probably a bigger deal now. :)

What version of PT are you using?
What site are you importing from?

[quotek0w]I raised a hand and won the blinds and the HH said that but the stat on the side said I lost a dollar in the pot and limped the hand instead.[/quotek0w]

Post the hand history text from this hand.

[quotek0w]My bad it's 28 HH files it says I need to move. Not 28 hands.[/quotek0w]

Do you have the "Move processed files to the following folder..." option set on the auto-import window?

As far as the 28 HH files it says I need to move. I have always used another folder I move the files to. That option has always been checked for me. What I did was I just created a normal folder inside my documents and I just move the hands to that folder. My pokertracker is starting to be slowed I think probably because of these 28 files. It has said 28 files for a long time, one time it hopped up to 30, then the next day it went back to 28 files. So it's weird and I don't really know what the hell is goin on

Are you playing other types of games than Hold'em? Manually move the files using Windows Explorer if that are in the UB hand history folder to the processed folder if PT is not moving these 28 files.

You also need to get the latest patch, version 2.17.01g from this link (MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD THE PATCH INSTALL, the second link on this page, and NOT the full version:
http://www.pokertracker3.com/products/PTH/download.php

I believe this problem was fixed some time ago. I cannot import this hand you posted to verify because it lost all it's formatting when you pasted the text here.

To get these bad hands corrected your are going to have to purge and reimport the hand histories.

Go to the Session Notes tab, double-click on a session that one of these bad hands belongs to. Go to the Game Notes tab and click the Export button to export all the hands from that session to a file.
Then go to the Utilities > Database Maintenance and Options window and delete the session.
Then reimport the file that was exported in the first step using the File > Import Hand Histories/Tournament Summaries window, Select Files To Import button.
