Open the Utilities > Auto-Rate Players window and click on the second tab, the rules tab. You can use the Default Rules button there.

What do you mean it doesn't work. I've never had anyone say this before. Please give specific details.

I don't see how that's possible.

Open the Utilities > Auto-Rate Players window. Click on the Step 2 - Rules tab and click the Default Rules button.

Doesn't it open a window and tell you it's going to overwrite any existing rules, etc, etc?
What happens when you click "YES". Doesn't it default the rules??

Does it or does it not prompt you when you click the Default Rules button that the existing rules will be overwritten???

What version of PT are you using?
Are you using Vista?
Are you letting PT change your regional settings to English/US at startup?

I have never seen anyone with this problem in 4 years.

You need to let PT change the regional settings.
Open the Utilities > Regional Settings window. Check the "Yes, always change my regional settings" box. Then save the changes, close PT and try it again.
