Can you ZIP and email me that Gamehistory.dat file to support at pokertracker dot com so I can see what is going on?

It is not possible that you are installing the patch into the same folder that you are running the EXE from or it would not be the old version.

Search your hard drive looking for the file

ptrack2.exe

How many does it find? List the file size and the date/time on the file.

Then search the external hard drive for the same file.

How many does it find? List the file size and date/time on them as well.

On my E: drive (the drive I use PT and am trying to get to update) had 4 ptrack2.exe files

Ihave tried to save the patch to all 3 PT files on my E: drive

Right-click on the desktop icon that you use to run Poker Tracker and select Properties from the popup menu.
Copy and paste the text that is in the Target field into a reply.

OK, now try to install the patch.

On the first window it should say "Welcome to the Poker Tracker v.2.17.01i Patch Setup Wizard"

Click the "Next" button.

Now on the next window, if "E:\Poker Tracker V2" is not shown in the field next to the Browse button, copy/paste this text

E:\Poker Tracker V2

into that field and then hit the Next button and continue to allow it to install.

When it's done, go to the desktop icon to start PT. It should now say it's v2.17.01i in the title bar.

Yes, if it doesn't initially default to the right folder then you will have to change it before installing the patch.
