problems importing a layout

I am having problems importing a PA Hud layout for Pokerstars. The layout I'm trying to import is someone else's and I know it works. I have two questions:

1.
At first it didn't work at all. When I try to import this layout I get the message:
"The imported layout does not match the current layout. Would you like to convert the imported layout?"

[b56v]Why am I getting this message?[/b56v] What does it mean? I didn't get it when I tried to import the same layout into Full Tilt (it is a universal layout - contains ftp and stars layouts).
Anyway, I hit yes. Then it didn't work no matter what I did or what I changed... finally I checked 'use flicker free drawing' in the Stars preferences and that got it working.

2.
However, I have one remaining problem. It is displaying my own stats at the absolute bottom of the screen (table), not by the seat I'm sitting in. It's putting them at the bottom center, covering part of the chat box. In the layout manager it doesn't show anything there... so [b56v]why are they displaying there, and how can I move them to where I'm sitting?[/b56v]

There is no such thing as a 'Universal' layout. It may work on both sites but the file he exported will be either for 'Full Tilt' or for 'PokerStars'. Have him export the layout for both sites then in your layout manager select the correct site prior to importing. If you do not do this, it should still work but you will get the message you listed above.

Can you send me a screenshot of your table and the corresponding layout in PokerAce Hud? CTRL-PRINT SCREEN captures your desktop. You can then paste this capture into Microsoft Paint and save it as an image. Please send me the image via the [url=http://www.pokertracker3.com/support/y5s]Support system[/urly5s].
